“The world” has a lot of messed up views, and it’s not easy trying to live up to it’s standards. We all do, at some point in our lives, feel judged and/or peer pressured into doing something or acting a way that is just not us.. or pushed to try reach perfection in a skill or talent.. Pushing your body to try reach perfection?
We get stuck in the mindset of “I’ll be happy when” or “I’ll do [this] after I’ve..”
I know because I’ve been here. I’ve hated myself for many years, and I’m just now starting to get over it. I’m still not content with my body but I’m not going to let my bodies imperfections take away my happiness.
We all have struggles and we all have doubts. But perfection… it doesn’t exist.
